Milk Bath

Was there ever a more perfect bath? Or a more perfect bather? In Milk Bath a Holstein cow is tipped back, eyes half-closed, back legs propped comfortably on the rim of a claw-foot tub while the milk fountain runs. The chandelier is lit low. The wallpaper is doing its damask best. A towel waits, unbothered. Self-sufficiency is its own reward.
